Mission
The Go for Gold Foundation’s mission is to educate and empower student-athletes, providing opportunities for personal growth and development through the sport of wrestling and beyond. Our organization is committed to cultivating character-building experiences and teachable moments beyond recruitable student-athletes, but rather instilling values of hard work, leadership, and service to oneself, family, and community.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to empower young men and women by providing them with the tools necessary for success, rooted in growth and empowerment of oneself, family, and community. In partnership with Raleigh Area Wrestling, we conduct year-round wrestling practices, providing financial and instructional support. Additionally, we offer college prep programming, mentoring, scholarship funds, and other offerings to support the success of our student-athletes. The Go for Gold Foundation also supports youth sports and educational organizations through monetary contributions.
